postmoderno

mcp-first post scheduler · free while in beta

The post scheduler
your agent talks to.

postmoderno is an MCP server your AI agent connects to. Draft, schedule and publish to Bluesky and Mastodon — X next — from claude.ai, Claude Code, Cursor, any MCP client. No dashboard required.

01 / write

Draft where you already are.

No compose box. You talk, your agent calls create_post — text, media, target accounts, all of it. Every mutation returns the full post back, so the agent confirms without a second round-trip.

✓ scheduled — tuesday 09:00 (06:00 UTC)

→ bluesky · mastodon

02 / schedule

“Tuesday 09:00” means Tuesday 09:00.

Natural times resolve against your timezone, and every answer carries both local and UTC — so agents can’t invent an offset. Even the ambiguous 2:30 on a fall-back night resolves predictably: later instant, stated plainly.

"tomorrow 9am" → 09:00 your time / 06:00 UTC

03 / publish

14:00 fires at 14:00.

Exactly once — never a duplicate, never a silent miss. If a platform has a bad moment, postmoderno retries on its own and shows you what happened, per platform. Your part ended when you said “tuesday 14:00”.

control

Your agent gets exactly
the keys you cut for it.

scoped tokens
Each MCP token carries only the permissions you tick. An agent without posts.delete never even sees a delete tool — filtered out of tools/list, not refused after the fact.
account allow-list
Pin a token to specific accounts: this agent may post to @handle on Bluesky, and nowhere else.
encrypted at rest
Platform tokens are AES-256-GCM encrypted with a key that never enters the repo. MCP tokens are stored as hashes, shown once.
small footprint
One Go binary and Postgres. Your posting calendar doesn’t need a cluster — it runs comfortably on a €5 server.
