Terms of service
Last updated: 2026-10-05. Beta service — these terms are deliberately short and will be refined before general availability.
1. The service
postmoderno lets you write and schedule posts to third-party social platforms, primarily through an MCP (Model Context Protocol) interface used by AI agents you control. During the beta the service is free of charge. Accounts created during the beta keep the founder plan.
2. Your account
You accept these terms when you create an account, by ticking a box that reads “I have read and agree to the terms of service.” We record the version of these terms you accepted and when.
You are responsible for what your account — and any AI agent or MCP token acting under it — publishes. Keep your credentials and MCP tokens secret; anyone holding a token can act within the permissions you gave it. Revoke tokens you no longer use.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to send spam, coordinate harassment, distribute malware, infringe others' rights, or violate the rules of the platforms you post to. We may suspend workspaces that do; scheduled posts of a suspended workspace are not published.
4. Third-party platforms
Publishing depends on APIs operated by X, Bluesky, Mastodon instances, and others. We are not responsible for their availability, rate limits, or policy changes. Connected-account credentials are stored encrypted and used only to publish what you scheduled.
5. Your content
Your posts remain yours. You grant us only the technical license needed to store, process, and transmit them to the platforms you target. Uploaded media is staging storage: it is delivered to platforms at publish time and purged from our storage within 7 days after the post reaches a final state.
6. Termination
You can delete your account at any time (see the privacy policy for what that removes). We may suspend or terminate accounts that break section 3, with notice where practical.
7. Warranty and liability
The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, during the beta. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service — which, during the free beta, is zero.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes are announced by email to registered users at least 14 days before they take effect.
